Liam, the head brewer at Yellow Dog, and Mitch, the head brewer at Dageraad, grew up together in the small town of Terrace, B.C. There they developed their passion for craft beer, whipping up home brews together. This Wild Hibiscus Wit was a home brew recipe before they knew what sour beer was. They found a bunch of weird, funky stuff in their carboy but bottled it anyway, and it was a winner! The finished product had a nice, funky tartness to it, which they have now recreated using more science and less chance. The lessons learned on the mean streets of Terrace help make this beer special.
